Promoting Youth Cricket In Zimbabwe

Protocor would like to give a shout out and a huge thank you to our client Brand Identity for donating 14 new cricket bats to the Triangle Country Club Cricket Division for the development of cricket in the Chiredzi Region – I wasnt sure that we could pull this one off so thank you to all those involved Karen at Brand Identity, Gernie for storing them in Pretoria and Monty for transporting me and the bats to Zims.
Spending time getting to know the members young and old of the Triangle Country Club cricket division – the young guy in the red top who goes by the nickname Squid is only 19 years old but has already been selected for the Zimbabwe A Squad – amazing story the Zim team came to Triangle to practice prior to going to Bangladesh and they were short a fielder so the Captain of Triangle Batsarai suggested they give Squid a run and soon he had the Zims batsman pinned down with his pace attack coming in at a cool 138 km/hr -soon after that he was offered a position in the Zims squad – I love these magical stories – Squiddy you are an inspiration to other young cricketers who like yourself did not have the priviledge of an easy path to get to where you have. Plumtree must be very proud of their alma mater.
